Track Marshal Signals at Speed Orion Cup: Every Flag Explained

Track Marshal Signals at Speed Orion Cup: Every Flag Explained

Racing at Speed Orion Cup means sharing the track with dozens of other riders, all pushing hard through every corner at Motofy Arena. The only way race control can talk to you at 120 kmph is through track marshals and their flags. Miss a signal and you risk a penalty, or worse, a crash you could have avoided.

Every flag has a specific meaning. The yellow flag means danger ahead - a crash, oil on the track, or a slower rider. When you see yellow, no overtaking is allowed in that zone. Lift off the throttle slightly and stay alert. The red flag stops the session immediately. Pull in safely, engine off. Someone needs medical attention or the track is blocked.

The blue flag is for slower riders. If you see it, faster traffic is closing in from behind. Hold your line, stay predictable, and let them pass on the next straight. Do not make sudden moves. The black flag with an orange circle means your bike has a mechanical issue - leaking fluid or loose bodywork. Pit in immediately before you cause a crash.

The green flag signals the track is clear and racing can resume. The chequered flag ends the session. One more lap, then pit in. At Speed Orion Cup, marshals are stationed at every corner of Motofy Arena. They are trained volunteers who watch your line, your speed, and the riders around you. Respect their signals and they keep you safe.

Speed Orion Cup takes place at Motofy Arena, Jaipur, from 24 to 26 January 2027. Rider entries close 29 October 2026. If you finish in the top categories, you enter the Auction cum Sponsorship at a base price of ₹35,000, where brands compete to back you. That sponsorship can fund your entire racing season.
