Speed Orion Cup Race Categories Guide for Riders
Choosing the right race category at Speed Orion Cup can make the difference between a frustrating weekend and the ride of your life. At Motofy Arena, Jaipur, 24-26 January 2027, riders will compete across multiple classes designed to match skill, experience and machine capability. Here is how to find yours.
The Novice category welcomes first-time racers who have completed at least three track days. If you have been practicing at Motofy Arena weekend sessions and feel ready to test yourself against the clock and other riders, this is your entry point. Lap times are secondary to clean riding and learning racecraft.
Intermediate riders typically have two or more race weekends under their belt and consistent lap times within a defined window. You know your lines, you can overtake safely, and you are hunting tenths off your personal best. This category sees the most entries because it balances competition with camaraderie.
The Expert and Pro categories are where Speed Orion Cup truly heats up. These riders compete for podium glory and entry into the Auction cum Sponsorship, where brands bid to back top performers at a base price of thirty-five thousand rupees. If you have raced regionally or nationally, or if your Motofy Arena track day times put you in the top ten percent, this is your battleground.
Bike categories are split by displacement and modification level, so a well-ridden 200cc can shine in its class without facing litre-class machines. Stock, Street and Open classes ensure fair competition.
Still unsure which category suits you? Join a track day at Motofy Arena before entries close on 29 October 2026. Our marshals and experienced riders can help you assess your readiness. Speed Orion Cup is not just about winning. It is about riding with your community, pushing your limits in a safe environment, and maybe catching the eye of a sponsor who believes in your potential.
